Our Story

SPAN International aims to improve the social and economic conditions of communities by empowering them. Since 2004, SPAN International has been working on various health, livelihood, and education projects in partnership with national and international organizations. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in Bihar.

The mission of SPAN International is to empower communities to achieve socio-economic, cultural, political development, and civil rights. It promotes equitable and sustainable economic development by providing professional techno-managerial services to individuals and organizations. The organization ensures that economically marginalized groups are recognized as active contributors to the growing economy and facilitates an equitable distribution of generated wealth in their favor.

One Organization
Many Dimensions

SPAN INTERNATIONAL focuses on the economic dimensions of poor livelihoods, aiming for five outcomes: enterprise promotion, employment generation, equitable economy, economic growth, and empowerment.

Founded 17 years ago, this non-profit has worked with marginalized communities, especially rural women and children.

One notable project, "School Again," established a special education school in Kaushal Nagar slum in Patna, supported for three years by local donors and community efforts.

After the project, the children were enrolled in local public schools. SPAN International has collaborated with government and private organizations to improve health, education, and livelihood in underserved communities.
